Selected Proceedings of the 36th Linguistics Symposium on Romance Languages

We have negotiated a contract with John Benjamins Publishing Company in Amsterdam, who will publish one, or possibly two volumes of Selected Proceedings, edited by María José Cabrera, José Camacho, Viviane Déprez, Nydia Flores and Liliana Sánchez.

We request that authors submit their paper to us before June 15, 2006. Every competitive paper will be sent out for external review and a final selection will be made during the Summer. We plan to have all camera-ready manuscripts sent to John Benjamins by January 15, 2007 for a Spring/Summer 2007 publication.

If you are interested in submitting your paper, kindly let us know by e-mail as soon as possible. The Style Sheet provided to us by John Benjamins is posted on the LSRL site. Please apply these guidelines to your first submission.

Please submit your manuscript electronically in two formats: Microsoft Word and .pdf. You will be notified if a hard copy is required. The maximum length is 15 pages single-spaced (20 pages for plenary speakers)

Authors will be asked to approve the following statement as part of the copyright agreement if their papers are accepted for publication:

“The author warrants that this article/chapter is original and is not under consideration for publication elsewhere, nor has it been published in any form. In case of third-party copyright ownership, the author warrants that written permission has been granted by the legal copyright holder at no cost to the publisher.”
